When David (aka Tom) Gordon married Edith Mary Glasson on 15 April 1908 at the Guyong Methodist Church (now a private home) not only did her Glasson name change to Gordon but they set a precedent, at least for two of their great grandchildren to follow, in having their wedding photos taken on the property in the same setting just 97 and 101 years later. The presence of a car in the 2005 photo is a bit of a giveaway about the interval between the images. The hedgerows and elm trees in the background were already well established in the 1908 photo.
